Linsey Bishop, Certified Activity Director, organized and planned the Cinco De Mayo Fundraiser. Several
employees donated supplies, food items and their time to make this event a great success. The dinner
included smothered burritos with green chili, rice, beans, chips and salsa. Julie Arana, RN, DON arranged
for live entertainment featuring Makayla Marez, Mariachi Singer. Makayla serenaded the guests that
attended and then went to each residents’ room to share a personal performance. The funds raised are
to be used to help purchase a domestic water heater for the nursing home. Thank you to all who came
out and supported our fundraiser.
